On 10 November, the Embassy of Nepal and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) co-hosted an event to promote Nepal Tourism Year 2011. In his address, Ambassador of Nepal Dr Suresh Chandra Chalise highlighted the fact that the country enjoys a special relationship with the people of UK. Attendees included Mr Khagendra Thapa Magar, who is officially recognised as the Shortest Man in the World by Guinness World Records.  Mr Magar was in London to help promote Nepal Tourism Year 2011. The event was followed by some delicious Nepalese food.
