PROPERTY WATCH: 80 Holland Park: the first fully serviced residential development in W11

80 HOLLAND PARK is Christian Candy’s most significant residential development since the renowned One Hyde Park. Bordering the north side of Holland Park and comprising 25 carefully crafted properties – including lateral penthouses and duplex ‘town houses’ – every home at 80 Holland Park has its own distinct character, and is finished with the consideration and quality Candy is renowned for. The first fully serviced residential development in W11, 80 Holland Park is entirely complete, fully staffed and operational, with sales managed by Knight Frank.

The project has been led by CPC Group, Candy’s residential development and investment company, which has been been at the forefront of some of the most desirable homes in the capital. They appointed a best-in-class team consisting of architecture by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands and Studio Indigo, and construction by Knight Build Ltd and Concept Bespoke. Interior designers include iconic British designer Nina Campbell and rising stars Albion Nord. As you would expect, each apartment has been delivered to the highest specification, featuring Gaggenau and Miele appliances in Bulthaup Kitchens, sanitary ware by Waterworks, limed oak wood flooring and Carrara Marble bathrooms. Critically, the scheme integrates modern function and light as key design components; ceiling heights reach 3.4m in some apartments. Running throughout the development is relentless attention to detail, from the planning of every single space to the quality of the mechanical and electrical services that support them.

Located in one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods, 80 Holland Park has the service and facilities ordinarily only found in much larger developments. These include 24-hour concierge, residents’ car parking, a private screening room, residents’ lounge and business suite, a 16.8-metre pool with spa facilities, and a performance-driven gym designed by Olympic Triathlete, Tim Weeks. Perhaps the ultimate amenity, however, is that each home has access to external space through balconies, terraces, courtyards and gardens, with the rear gate of the development opening directly onto 54 acres of Holland Park.

Photographs really don’t do 80 Holland Park justice; interested parties should really see the property in person to capture a real sense of the relaxed design for twenty-first century living. As Rupert des Forges, Head of Prime Central London Developments at Knight Frank, has said: “80 Holland Park is one of the most exciting prime central London schemes to come to market for some time.”
